Periodicals and trade magazines will help you to familiarise yourself with current affairs and hot topics.

More and more companies are putting their information on the Web. The type and depth of information varies from company to company but usually includes details of their service areas, their annual report, company background information, press releases and contact details. It is important that you are fully aware of what the company does, what services they provide and the ethos of the company. It is also worth looking into the company structure and their recruitment process.
