    Finding voluntary work
    If there is a particular organisation you would like to work for, why not write to them explaining why you are interested and how you can benefit them.
    If you want to offer help to a charity, think about finding a charity with the right aims , aims that you feel strongly about search Charities Direct to get you started.
    If you want to volunteer overseas try the Voluntary Service Overseas or World Service Enquiry Guide to Volunteering for Development.

    Voluntourism There are hundreds projects all over the world that you can pay to be part of. But, make sure you do your research, find out about the organisation, find out what you will be doing contact people who have already taken part. Contact the VSO for further information about individual projects.


    Employer enabled volunteering
    Business in the Community is a national campaign helping employees engage with their communities through volunteering, so you don't have to leave your job if you want to make a difference or gain new skills. For more information www.bitc.org.uk

    European Voluntary Service
    EVS offers young people (18-30) the opportunity to volunteer in another country, normally for a period of six to twelve months.
