Personality Profiling at SICS

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI):
Find out what makes you tick and why other people can drive you mad in this workshop based on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. The session should give you better understanding of:
  • How you relate to others
  • Your own strengths and weaknesses
  • How you and others work in a team
  • The different styles of working
The indicator looks at your preferred ways of interacting with others, taking in information, making decisions and working. Not only is this information useful in helping you understand you but it is also helpful when undertaking team building exercises or managing people. It may also give you insight into which careers appeal to you and why but it will not match you with specific jobs. It is not a 'test'- there are no right or wrong answers. You will 'score' your own questionnaire and with a trained consultant look at the outcomes. In the end only you can decide what best describes you and what doesn't.

To book a place, please sign up using our careers registration system - SICS Interfase. You will need to set up an account first: Interfase

Registration for each MBTI Workshop will be opened  TWO weeks before each session and will close when it is fully booked or, at the latest, 1 working day before the event.

IMPORTANT! As MBTI workshops have limited places available and require a guaranteed turnout, once registered online, you MUST also pay a £5 non-returnable deposit (correct change only) This secures a place on the session and covers the cost of materials which you will need in advance of the workshop. We cannot return deposits in the event of your non-attendance for any reason unless you give us notice of cancellation at least one working day before the test so that your place can be allocated to another student in person at the UCL Careers Service AND collect a questionnaire which MUST be completed prior to the workshop (it takes around 1 hour to complete) to secure a place. You will remain on a reserve list until we have received your deposit and for most sessions, we have more demand than there are places available so please register AND pay early to avoid disappointment!

Please note, the personality profiling workshops themselves take place in the UCL Careers Service Seminar Room on the 4th floor of the ULU building on Malet Street
