Information for College Staff:
The Specialist Institutions' Career Service (SICS) offers a comprehensive careers information and guidance service to students and graduates from those institutions listed on the right. To find out more about those services, use the menus on the left. We also have close links with departments, both in terms of direct delivery of information and guidance to students and also in supporting staff dealing with careers or employability related issues.
We have a network of careers liaison tutors in departments who act as a focus for our work, and with whom we have regular meetings to discuss our services and careers work in general. Each college/department is allocated a named Careers Adviser who delivers careers education sessions within that department and also has specialist knowledge of the labour market in that area.
