Information for graduates from other institutions

SICS provides information, help and advice only to students and graduates from those colleges listed on the right. Graduates from other institutions are not able to use its facilities, and we regret we are also unable to provide you with advice by telephone or email.
However, there are plenty of places you can turn to:

Your own University Careers Service. Many University Careers Services will provide help to their own students after graduation- you should contact them to find out.

It may be possible for you to use the facilities of another institution, under the 'Services to Graduates' agreement which exists between some higher education careers services. As most institutions will give priority to their own students, you may find that services are limited (for example, to use of the information facilities) and/or that there is a charge. You should therefore phone first to find out what facilities you may use.
NEW: The Careers Group, University of London has a new service available to Graduates from other Universitites who are looking for help trying to find work within London called GradClub UK.
This new service gives its members access to information resources, tips and advice on how to improve their employability. For further information on how to join please click here.

Alternatively; C2, part of The Careers Group, University of London, is a specialised career consultancy for people at any stage in their career. Open during the day and some evenings, it also offers a variety of web based services, including an online cv/advice service.
On the Web

Information about all the above resources, plus careers advice, vacancies and links to employers, careers services, universities, professional bodies and more can be found on the The Careers Group, University of London web site.
