Getting into International Development Course

International Development is a growing sector that employs a wide range of people around the globe. This popular one day introductory course is run annually, and sets out clearly how the sector is structured and the skills and experience needed to get into international development.

This year's event enabled 330 attendees to:

  • Meet and network with key players within the sector
  • Learn about routes in - including internships, graduate programmes and short courses
  • Get tips from recruiters on making effective applications

Speakers included: GOAL, VSO, World Vision, AMREF, SPW, Merlin, 2Way Development, Civil Service Fast Stream, and theIDLgroup.
