- The Careers Group, University of London will make information about appropriate job vacancies available to all job seekers. Information will be displayed in The Careers Group, University of London office and on www.careers.lon.ac.uk. Vacancies can also be found in all University of London Careers Services and on their websites:

- The Careers Group also reserves the right not to advertise vacancies for employment to the nature of which it deems might be liable to bring the the University into disrepute

- The Careers Group, University of London will not disclose the names, addresses or telephone numbers of job seekers without their permission and shall conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act and any subsequent related Acts.

- The Careers Group, University of London does not issue work permits and is not able to advise on the likelihood of you obtaining one.
- If you are a citizen from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the spouse or child of an EEA citizen living in the UK you may work here without a work permit.
- International students, who are registered at a UK institution and have student status, need not apply for permission. You may work up to a maximum of 40 hrs per week during your vacation. Term time employment up to a maximum of 20 hrs per week. - Job seekers are expected to be aware of their own study commitments and not to take employment that will adversely affect their academic work; our guide for employers suggests full time students work no more than 20 hours per week, except during vacations.
