More vacancies on JobOnline June 22, 2012
Posted by The Careers Group News in : graduate, graduate jobs, graduate recruitment, job hunting, job vacancies, jobs, students, vacancies , add a commentDespite the current job market JobOnline – the online jobs board from The Careers Group, University of London – has seen a tremendous increase in vacancies on its database.
Over the last month 1113 vacancies have been posted on JobOnline which is a 53% increase on the same month last year. The most notable increases have been in Science, Engineering, Arts and Marketing.
Ingrid Ross, Head of Communications and Vacancies, suggests this success may be down to the introduction of sector-related pushes where each month the team focuses on sourcing vacancies for a particular industry. For June the focus is on Life Sciences which has so far resulted in an increase of eight times the vacancies for Animal & Plant Resources, Materials Science – Manufacturing & Processing, and Scientific Services over the same period last year. Next month the team will be focusing on engineering.
JobOnline is a terrific resource for student and graduate job-seekers with daily updated vacancies for full-time, part-time, graduate programmes and internship opportunities. All of the jobs advertised adhere to strict guidelines ensuring they conform to National Minimum Wage legislation and provide equality of opportunity.
