Career Coaching: “A Really Good Kick up the Backside”

Posted by Alison Springate

I found this article in the Guardian which was published in September (a little out dated I know) but it creates an excellent case for career coaching.

Career coaching is increasingly being seen as an essential investment that is key to securing a company’s future in the market place. It can be used to improve key skills such as project management, presentation, networking and leadership skills. The aforementioned article in the Guardian provides an example of an individual whose passion for his job was reinforced, and his mind refocused thanks to career coaching. He describes his experience as a “really good kick up the backside when I needed it most.” Click here to read this article.

This is being seen at C2; Companies are increasingly coming to us to invest in career coaching. Due to increased demand for workshops and one-to-one sessions we are now creating a series of programmes for organisations who are looking to develop their employees’ key skills.
