Working overseas in China
In China work is concentrated in the cities and the industrial and construction sectors are the biggest employers of graduates. Multi-national companies, who welcome foreigners, use a structured recruitment process similar to the UK.

 
Working overseas in the USA

In the USA the fastest growing areas are those related to healthcare, followed by social media, green jobs  and the business and finance sectors. Referral for roles is common and in the private sector graduates are often able to negotiate their salary.

Working overseas in Japan
In Japan, most foreign nationals as English language teachers.  There are also opportunities for those with specific technical skills and industry experience, particularly for Japanese speakers. 

Hong Kong
In Hong Kong, most work for foreigners can be found in the financial and professional service sectors, such as banking, finance, teaching and hospitality.
